This one was a fun job. The doors were old enough that the bottom section had rotted through and split apart to the point where it tried to take the short route to the ceiling when the opener pulled on it. Not the kind of thing you fix; the whole door was done.
The tear-out was a fight. Old hardware, brittle panels, and the kind of summer heat where you're drinking water faster than you can move panels out to the truck. But we got it pulled, cleaned up, and the openings prepped without dragging the day out.
While we had everything open we added H-frames and spring pads, it gives the new doors a solid mounting structure instead of just bolting into whatever was there before. Then in went the new doors and new openers, dialed in and tested.
Whole job, start to finish, in under 4 hours. Customer walked out to a garage that didn't look like the same building anymore.
